About Melissa Muller Daka
I am a restauranteur, professional cook and writer. I owe my passion for food to my childhood summers in rural Sicily, where I learned the value of being connected to the land. I am a firm believer that we are what we eat, and that good eating is a cornerstone of living a long and healthful life.
I'm the Chef Proprietor of Eolo and Pastai, both located in Chelsea, New York City.
I hold a B.A. and M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and a degree in Culinary Arts and Bread-making from the French Culinary Institute.
Along with running my two restaurants, I'm hard at work on my first cookbook about Sicilian food and wine.
My pleasure!
Thanks for sharing. Your post is a useful conritbutoin.
